According to the results of calculating the AQI index on the stations in Hanoi from January 1 to February 18, about 50% of the days have poor or very poor air quality (AQI> 100). Particularly on January 13, air quality was the worst during the above period.

Ho Chi Minh City, the observation agency also noted that in the first 2 months, the city had days of good air quality accounted for 30%, the average accounted for 64% and only 6% of the air days were at bad levels. The monitoring results also showed that the fine dust index exceeded the allowed limit in the days of January 6 to January 16.
"Only when the weather is changing, such as when rain, wind speed increases or fog falls, can air quality improve," the report said.
